WMS currently provides roaming services to
wireless telecommunications carriers worldwide.
This list includes
but is not limited to the following:
Customers roaming on Cruise Ships and Ferries will see a distinct name on the handset other than their home carrier. The handsets will read “Nor 18”, “cellular@sea” or “901 18”.
- WMS leverages Syniverse to clear roaming records for customers. For GSM providers we clear TAP records under the BMU01 PMN. For CDMA we use standard CIBER clearing processes.
- WMS is fully BARG and GSMA compliant, thereby simplifying billing and customer care.
- Wholesale rates are negotiated on a carrier by carrier basis, but are consistent with a premium roaming experience for each carrier’s end-user.
- WMS ensures clearing of roaming activity takes place on an hourly basis.
Just as with Cruise Lines and Ferries, the end-customer relationship is that of each individual carrier. While WMS appreciates the opportunity to work with our roaming partners on offers and marketing, we do not and will not actively engage in any activity without the consent of our roaming partners.
